Fitz stares into the sky holding Skillet's burnt cap and goggles. All is quiet except for the burning of the wrecked city, and there is no one else to be seen. He hears a strange electronic noise and goes off to investigate and finds it comming from the diner. As he enters a missle slams into a nearby car and then he has to dive out of sight as group of tiebots fly by. When the coast is clear he finds that that the noise is comming from a pinball machine. When he starts it, a bunch of red symbols appear in the playing area. As he is playing, a bright glowing ball of energy enters, and in a flash of light the burnt smoldering wreckage all around returns to normal as if there was never any damage. Fitz continues playing as if he doesn't even notice. The ball of light has a pink swirling tint and musical notes orbiting around it and it begins to speak to him in a language that simply sounds like piano music, yet he understands... all the while still transfixed on the pinball machine. It addresses him by name and when he asks how it knows, it replies "We all know your name." and says it's name is Archeus. Fitz says he can't understand the symbols in the machine. Archeus tells him if he gives up the fight he will be able to read it. He becomes agitated because he can't understand what Archeus means. Archeus replies "No one understands this. No one cares. It isn't funny, except to you maybe." Archeus then tells him his wife and child are alive and need his help, but Fitz says he doesn't believe it. Archeus replies "Don't believe what you haven't been shown. the square guy can afford technology to away the mind." and says "Skillet needs you..." Fitz then sees a blue orb rise from the machine and Skillet can be seen inside... everything fades to black.
Next we see stars and planets race by as if the camera is flying through space and zooms into earth all the way down to what suspiciously appears to be Georgia and continues into a forest and then a mushroom. Inside the mushrom it zooms into a spore then a building on the spore and down a hallway and then we see a glimpse of Fitz attached to a machine. Fitz gains a vauge state of conciousness and can hear the muffled voices of Shark and RBM though he can't fully make out their blurry appearance through a mask he's wearing. RBM and Shark can be heard arguing as usual and talk about how they were killed and RBM says he can fix everything since it didn't really happen. We then can see what is going on... RBM and Shark are in human forms dressed in suits and glasses. Skillet is still alive and suspended in a tank and looks like he is blackened from burns. Eye can be seen in the form of a boy attached to a machine as well. RBM tells the nurse, who appears to be the Annoying woman, to give Fitz 1200cc of Steribolium. She says it will kill him, but RBM still insists she do it. While RBM and Shark argue over the exsistance of Archeus and religion, the nurse digs through a drawer of medicine bottles and pulls out a gun. She heads back and is stopped by someone with a familiar voice... it's Peanut in human form... and he's getting stoned as usual. She tells him "Archeus lives in the stream." Back in the macine room the Nurse and Peanut enter with guns drawn. They both shoot Shark, killing him... then shoot at RBM but he uses his telekinesis to stop the bullet before it hits his head. Suddenly Peanut comes from behind and shoots him in the back of the head. Fitz now drifts back into unconciousness.
Fitz wakes up to find himself lying on the floor of the diner with Peanut and Golden Joe standing over him. He asks what time it is and realizes it is now 2:23. Suddenly the window breaks as Skillet comes flying in and lands on top of Fitz, who is suprised to see his little buddy alive. The group of friends leave the diner, and out in the street Fitz sees Archeus floating in the sky. Acheus says " Believe in it Fitz, we believe in you." He replies "I will." Peanut and Joe the say they thought they were wrapping up and things were done... Fitz says "Yeah, I thought so too.... I guess we're not." The friends then start walking down the street as Archeus flies off and vanishes in the sky.

Shark: Yeah, futhermukin religion ain't gonna take me down.
RBM: What do you have to turn to.
Shark: Don't ask me that.... ever.
RBM: My god is my money.
Nurse: Is he still alive?
Peanut: I can't tell, all this beeping and bliping.
Nurse: Lets hope he is, contact the new angel and tell her to come for us.
Fitz: What time is it?
Peanut: Let me check my watch that I don't have... i'm not a doctor.
Golden Joe: Two twenty-what? Well beat my meat to the song street, I gots to get my ass outta here before i get snowed in.
