Fitz, Skillet, Peanut, and Terminator girl are making their way through a vent shaft after escaping the clock shop when they are cut off by more Tiebots. They manage to shoot a few but they keep comming so Peanut tosses a grenade effectively whiping them out. Fitz finds a vent leading to Shark's surveillance room. Shark who is threatening Golden Joe with a knife hears them and gets up to the vent to hear better. Suddenly he gets thrown back as they explode into the room, uleashing a storm of bullets. The evil Eye get's blown apart and Shark slams to the ground on the other side of the room, stunned but still alive. They all train their guns on him and bring their wrath upon Shark in a barrage of gunfire, relentlessly filling him with hundreds of bullets until his head is blown completely off his body. The mighty Shark has fallen.
After Eye and Golden Joe are freed Fitz, hears muffled music and Eye tells him Shark ate the New Guy. Fitz climbs in Shark's body and pulls out the motionless, half digested New Guy and says they need to get him to the river. Fitz finds a switch that opens a chamber containing a huge air ship in the shape of a shark. Eye picks up the New Guy and says he will take him to the river on foot. Meanwhile RBM materializes above a body of water and says "appear" making a large structure resembling the Space needle appear with a sign saying "RBM Bank". He rides up in a glass elevator looking at the burning city below him and is confronted by the Shadow when he reaches the top. As usual his speach is garbled but RBM's responses reveal that Shark was just a pawn, the Asprind farms were ready to be harvested, and Fitz was doing everything as predicted. He then says "Yes... Amalockh brings the darkness, a note of evil which is inherent in all of us. It's a choice he made... we all make choices. I choose victory." Suddenly RBM unleashes one of his mysterious mind powers that causes the Shadow to transform in to a black liquid which he then seals in a Jar. The top part of his tower home then transforms into a ship and he launches from the base of the needle.
Corndroid bursts up from the ground and into the air. It taunts hundreds of the tie bots to surround it then destroys them all. Liquor watching from the manhole tries to get Roostre's attention with no response. He goes down to find Roostre's lifeless body on the ground and a glowing sphere of light speaks... "He's not in there anymore.. he's up there." Liquor responds" Muff you're free". Muff responds "For now." He then continues to explain that the Asprind fields need to be burned then they will all meet at the river, and they need Fitz to get through the Upfalls. Next we see Fitz and crew flying the shark ship through the swarms of bots. Peanut explains that the hovervacs are for harvesting the asprind and that the asprind is what "they" have been protecting. We now see the Tiebots blast a hole in the street revealing huge mounds of asprind underneath which the hoverbots begin harvesting. Suddenly they are under attack and Fitz tells Skillet to take care of it. Skillet climbs into a gun turrent ontop of the ship and gets into a fierce shooting battle with the Tiebots. After destroting many of them he picks up a large craft on his radar... it's RBM. They suddenly get slammed with a missle but continue to remain in flight. Skillet then Targets RBM and fires, but all of of the shots simply bounce harmlessly off his ship. RBM then says "Oh wait.... I forgot to give you this." and unleashes a great blast of energy directly into their ship. This time the damage is severe and they are forced to crash land into the city street in a shower of sparks.
The twisted flaming wreckage of the ship now rests, smoking on the street. Peanut hops out and for once becomes soberly aware of the situation when he sees Fitz standing next to the smoking remains of the gun turrent with a lost look in his eyes, holding his best friend's burnt cap in one hand and broken goggles in the other. Fitz looks into the sky as RMB's Ship flys by and that lost look in his eyes change... into a look of rage.
RMB looks down at them from his ship, gloating and says "Well, that's gotta hurt." Suddenly his ship shakes from being hit by something. In his arrogance he didn't even realize he had flow in the path of Amalockh. With a mighty growl Amalock takes a swing at RBM's ship hitting it with tremendous force. As it bursts into a ball of flame, the jar holding the liquified form of the Shadow can be seen flying through the air, away from the explosion.
